Acupuncture – facilitating and preparation of the childbirth and help in the postpartum period
Acupuncture during pregnancy has a calming and relaxing effect. Both in respect of relieving pregnancy nausea, vomiting and headaches and facilitating the birth itself already one third of all pregnant women strongly believe in the healing effects of this ancient method of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). A study at the University Hospital of Mannheim has shown that acupuncture shortens labour by an average of 2 hours (from 10 to 8) and eases the labour pains. That is why in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy 4 to 8 acupuncture sessions are recommended. In the postpartum period acupuncture supports the involution of the uterus and can be used for breast milk production or in case of inflammation of the breast.
Cosmetic acupuncture:
Cosmetic acupuncture is a holistic treatment which is always preceded by whole body acupuncture which has a balancing and harmonizing effect. It is followed by the facial treatment: with very fine needles the elasticity of the skin will be stimulated, the cells will be activated for rejuvenation of the skin; the skin will be visibly firmer and it will have younger and vivid appearance. This method is very effective to treat wrinkles in the area of forehead, eyes, nose and lips.
This natural "face lifting" without any risks makes your skin look shinier and brighter.
Moxibustion:
In moxibustion acupuncture points are stimulated by heat generated by burning of dried moxa leaves. The heat penetrates through the acupuncture points soothing the body and expels cold and moisture, creating more energy.
Herbal medicine
Herbal medicine is one of the oldest methods of treatment that we use in addition to other therapies. Complaints will be treated specifically with the forces of nature, where a special mixture is created in the form of herbal tea, powder or capsules according to your individual recommendation.
Relaxation therapies
Not the stress makes us sick, but the lack of relaxation.
Relaxation therapies with elements of yoga that at the same time invigorate and relax the body, breath and mind similar to Tai Chi (Chinese shadow boxing) are necessary for stress compensation. Just compensate the rush and pressure by performing targeted relaxation exercises and stay in balance.
